Edward Brettholz M.D.

Dr. Edward Brettholz is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Internal residency program, and the University of California at Irvine G.I. Fellowship program.. Dr. Brettholz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a member of numerous professional organizations including The American College of Physicians, The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Brettholz lectures extensively and is active in the G.I. Fellowship training program at Beth Israel Medical Center. He has a special interest and expertise in hepatitis and other liver diseases, hemorrhoids, GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and he has been involved in numerous cutting edge hepatitis research trials.
